Matthew Flinders

Matthew Flinders was born on the 16th of march 1774 in Donington , Lincolshire, England. He was a Navigator, Scientist and hydrographer. Matthew Flinders was one of the worlds most accomplished  Navigators and hydrographers. He charted the whole of Australia, he also circumnavigated the whole of Australia. Before Matthew Flinders' death he made a book called " A Voyage to Terra Australis", which was published the day before his death. Unfortunately he died in 1814 at the age of 40.

 George Bass

 George Bass was born on the 30th of January 1771, in Lincolshire, England. He worked as a sailor and surgeon. When George Bass found out the HMS Reliance was going to Port Jackson Bay (NSW) he decided to transfer to the HMS Reliance, where he saw Matthew Flinders. George Bass achievements were exploring most of Botany Bay and he also helped chart some of Australia. Unfortunately, he died in 1824 at the age of 53, it's unknown how he died. All they know is he sailed out to sea and never was seen or heared from again.

 William Bligh

 William Bligh was born on the 9th of September 1754. His birthplace was Plymouth, Devon, England. William's jobs were an explorer, Naval officer and Governer. He swore a lot and he usually was hot tempered. Unfortunately he died on the 7th of December 1817 at the age of 63, due to stomach cancer.

John Hunter

John Hunter was born on the 29th of August 1737. His birthplace was Edinburg-Scotland, his backround was half British half Scotish. John Hunter took over NSW for over a year.  He died on the 13th of march 1821 at old age.
